The original company, established in 1992, originated when Bryan embarked on a mission to find a used bicycle baby seat for his oldest daughter. Faced with limited options in a small Southwest Florida town, he recognized the absence of full-service bike shops. Consequently, he made the decision to open a bicycle shop, launching a business that has thrived for 31 years.

Today, Myrtle Beach Bicycles, opened in 2011, sits in a charming shopping plaza (St James Plaza) across from Saint James High School on Hwy 707 in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
